Hiring Lifeguards for 2024 Season

Working outdoors by the pool as a lifeguard can be an excellent way to earn money…and RFD is a special place to spend your summer.

If you were a lifeguard at RFD last summer, we hope you will return to work with us again this year! Please let us know if you’re interested in returning by emailing us at the above address.
To be considered as a lifeguard, you need meet the following qualifications:

  • be at least 15 years old (per VA state law). Work permit is required for 15-year-olds (see WORK PERMIT info below); and
  • have current Lifeguard and CPR certifications. In the event you do not have the needed certifications – don’t worry. We can provide information how you can become certified or how to renew expired certifications.
